Official Launch for Community Allotment with the Mayor of Chesterfield

We are pioneering new projects and continuing to grow! Pun intended.

In partnership with the Rufford Close Allotments we have prepared and filled one of many raised beds with carrots, lettuce, spring onions and coloured beetroot.

It is such a joy to continue to build strategic partnerships that are really helping individuals find a sense of community, purpose and achieving all within the wider Derbyshire strategy. We have seen an amazing therapeutic community grow in the last couple of months and are looking forward to celebrating this with a picnic and grand opening by our local Mayor.

Terry Eckersley, CEO

As a celebration we will be having a celebration picnic with the Mayor of Chesterfield alongside a ribbon cutting ceremony.

This will be taking place at the Rufford Close Allotments in Rufford Close, Chesterfield, S40 2PB on Wednesday 3rd August at 7pm.

I am proud to be representing the residents of the borough of Chesterfield and would like to thank them for their continued support. I hope to meet as many residents as possible over the coming year.

Cllr Tony Rogers
