We Are Pioneering a New Clothing Bank
This has come about due to great need and the generosity of Sainsburys Matlock. Whilst picking up for the regular Foodbank and food distribution service, Sainsburys donated some brand-new children’s and adults clothes.
It’s another case of local need, partnership and generosity all meeting at the perfect time. Feeding the hungry and clothing the needy, with excellence and dignity, will always be a huge part of what we do. Again, we are dreaming big and starting small and faithfully. We are so grateful to our amazing team and partners in this project.

River Network has partnered local Sainsburys stores to help serve the county with our growing foodbank, helping local families who are in need.
We are really happy to have partnered with River Network to help feed and now clothe the local families who need out support. I know all our colleagues will be excited as well.

Linking with Sainsburys is going to provide welcome support to local communities. I’m really happy to have partnered with such an amazing company. I love the philanthropic foundations of the company and it’s a strategic fit. We are looking forward to serving the county with their support.
